Children's information on Seshvi
Development draft. This notice and the consent process have not yet been reviewed by legal counsel and Seshvi is not yet approved for collecting real children's personal information. Use only synthetic test profiles until that review is complete.
Who holds the account
Accounts are created by a parent or legal guardian aged 18+. Children use Seshvi through a learner profile the parent creates and controls; children never register themselves or provide an email address.
What we collect about a child
A nickname and an optional grade band.
Answers to starting-point and mastery check questions, with the time they were given.
Which lesson practice sets were completed, and a short activity history.
Optional learning settings such as larger text.
We do not collect a child's surname, birthdate, email, photo, voice, location, or device advertising identifiers.
How it is used
Only to run the learning experience: choosing the next question, suggesting lessons, recording mastery and showing progress to the parent.
No advertising, no behavioural ad tracking, no selling or sharing learning records with third parties, and no AI services receive children's answers.
Who can see it
Only the parent account that created the profile. Access is enforced by the database itself, not just by hiding screens.
Your controls
Review progress at any time on the parent dashboard.
Edit a child's nickname, grade or settings.
Download all family data as a file.
Delete a child's profile and all its records, or your entire account, immediately.
Request access, correction or deletion help from the Account & privacy page.
Consent
Before adding a child, the parent reviews a versioned parental notice and gives consent. We store which version was accepted and when, and parents can withdraw it.
